Radiation Oncology Physics
Jim Gaiser has more than 24 years experience in the practice of Radiation Oncology Physics. Jim has a PhD from Auburn University and is certified in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics by the American Board of Radiology. He began his career as an educator and helped found the medical physics program at East Carolina University in the early 1990s. A frequent speaker at regional and national meetings, on a variety of topics contained by his extensive and broad experience, Jim is also an active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), including the Southeast Chapter of the AAPM. His expertise is in shield design and beam modeling for the Eclipse treatment planning system.
